Dear Customers, On Friday, May 15, letters went out to more than a thousand GM dealers across the country advising them that in 2010 they would no longer be an authorized dealer of General Motors cars and trucks. The criteria included several factors including sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction ratings, and location. PARSONS BUICK DID NOT get one of these letters. It is ours and GM’s intent that we will continue our business here in Plainville. The Parsons family would like to thank you for your past and future business. It has been your loyalty and support over these past 60 years that has given us a reason to be here and a reason for GM’s continued trust in us. Regarding GM’s impending bankcruptcy filing, this is still a very real possibility and we will share information with you as we receive it. If this does occur, it would allow a restructuring even quicker and a return to “normalcy” faster than would otherwise occur. In the meantime, it will have no effect on our eagerness to continue business as usual, and we will continue to serve you to the best of our ability. Please pass this information on to your friends, family and neighbors, and let them know that we would love to be of service to them as well.
